The Project for a New Mythology is a literary endeavor.  After a furiously paced beginning as a hand-bound, quarterly magazine, it is now an annual project that will take several different forms. The journal's stance is one of artistic social mindfulness. True and honest art has the power to create the world in which we want to live.

After a year’s hiatus to rest, rethink the magazine, and enjoy the publication of “The Evolution of Shadows,” it’s time to get a new issue of The Project for a New Mythology out the door. 


Volume 4: Remix


At first, Volume for was going to be a tradition-ish kind of issue.  However, I’ve always tried to keep Wallace Berman and his journal Semina Culture in mind when doing this journal.  Because of that I was dragging my feet on getting Volume 4 ready.  


But, now that has changed. Please see the blog for more details. 


In short, Volume 4: Remix will be an experiment in User Generated Content. I will be soliciting short pieces from writers and posting them to the website.  You will then be invited to remix them.  So, keep an eye on the blog and the website for more details, guidelines, and remixes.
